How do I register my child?
At the start of each season, the Junior AFL will have a sign on day just for this reason. It is a fun filled afternoon with interactive games played while the parents complete the registration papers. The day will be promoted through www.mtisa.aflq.com.au, the Junior AFL Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/#!/MountIsaJuniorAfl , Mount Isa Auskick programs and through schools.
How much does it cost?
The 2013 Registration Fees are available from the '2013 Fee Schedule' tab. Payment Options are:

Where are the games played?
The games are played at the purpose built AFL field at known as Legend Oval. This is situated along Sports Parade located alongside Basketball, Hockey and Soccer.
When are the games?
Each Friday afteroon at 4.30 to 6.15pm
Can my daughter play?
Yes, female players are more than welcome. Up to the age of 15, female players are allowed to participate in mixed teams. Beyond this females must play in an all girls competition.
What does my child have to bring?
- Footy Boots (or enclosed sandshoes)
- Footy Socks (can be purchased from Junior AFL)
- Footy shorts (recommend AFL shorts purchased from Junior AFL)
- Optional - head gear, waterbottle, skins
How long is the season?
The season usually spans approximately 16 calender weeks. We do not play on long weekends, school holidays or when the Mount Isa Rodeo is on. This will reduce our playing games to approximately 13. The fixtures will be available from the "2013 Fixtures" tab on this website.
What team will my child play in?
After all registrations are compiled, players will be selected into teams. Taken into account will be players skill, size and team history. All requests from parents to allocated teams will be attempted but not guaranteed.
