AFL Brisbane Juniors are expanding their umpire operations in 2015 and are looking for a maximum of three new coaches to join our team.
The positions of Assistant Umpire Coach - Satellite Venues are responsible for conducting fortnightly training at a venue in their region, ensuring that the AFLBJ Umpire Coaching plan is executed.
The Satellite Coach's will also be responsible for observing umpires in their designated region on weekends, along with identifying talented club appointed umpires to join the League group.
It is anticipated that venues will be set up in the South West, Northern and Eastern Suburbs of Brisbane, to compliment the current training base at Toowong.
Selection criteria is as follows:
- Knowledge of Australian Football and ability to develop their education on the Laws of the Game
- Ability to provide written and oral feedback
- Ability to educate young males and females, predominately between the ages of 12 and 20
- Possession or ability to obtain a valid Blue Card.

Please note that although umpiring experience is a bonus, it is not essential.
An honorarium is available for this position.
