Blake first played for the Cobras in 2004 when after completing the clubs NAB AFL Auskick program he decided to give under 8âs a try. He immediately made an impression on all those involved with the team as a player who put 100% effort into his football during the game and also at training. As he progressed through the grades he continued to work hard on his game and has always been willing to help out other teams, including playing finals for the under 12âs in 2007 when he was still playing for the under 10âs.
Over his time at the Cobras Blake has become a valuable member of the club and also a popular player with both his team mates and his coaches. Season 2009 has already been a big one for Blake as he made the Logan School District AFL team as well as being elected Captain of the Cobras under 12âs. Well done Blake and we look forward to seeing you wear the Cobras jumper for many years to come.
