SPECIALIST SHOOTING CAMP

 

Featuring Specialist Coaches:
Paul Maley – Former NBL All-Star, played over 270 games with Westside Melbourne, North Melbourne, Victoria Titans and Adelaide. 40% NBL Career 3 point shooter. Graduated from Yale University in 1988 as the Ivy League Player of the Year.

Darryl Pearce – Former Australian Boomer and 1988 Olympian. Spent 15 seasons in the NBL with Adelaide and North Melbourne and shot an amazing 43% from behind the 3 point line. 

Coaching areas will include:
SHOOTING ASPECTS:
Shot technique, shooting off the pass and dribble, and drills for individual practice.

WHEN: Tuesday 23rd September 2008, 10am–3pm

WHERE: Diamond Valley YMCA
            Civic Drive
            Greensborough 3088
            (Melway Ref – 11 A10)

WHO: Friday night representative players from U12 – U18 can register.

SPACES: Only 100 spots are available (Boys and Girls combined).

COST: $44.00 (including GST)

(Payment can be by cheque, money order, credit card or cash. Cheque or Money Order should be made payable to Basketball Victoria, credit card can be paid on the registration form, over the phone or in person. Cash must be paid in person at the Basketball Victoria office before the due date.)

Please complete the enclosed registration form and return by Friday 12th September. Please be aware that we take players on a ‘first in, best dressed’ system. Confirmation of the camp registration will be sent via email about 1 week prior to the camp (Please ensure you include a reliable email address). Please contact Basketball Victoria prior to the camp commencement date if you have not received confirmation.

Due to limited positions at these camps, refunds will only be considered if BV is given at least 24 hours notice of intended absence AND we receive an appropriate medical certificate.
