The 'Last Possession Rule' is applied to all premiership competitions and teams no longer require Boundary Umpires. However, if you have boundary umpires, they can still be utilised for a quick retrieval of the ball. Boundary Umpires are not required to make decisions, or blow the whistle. Boundary Umpires must still wear the yello boundary umpire vest, and be listed on the Team Sheet.
