After more than 10 years, boxing competition for the first time came alive again over the week end in Honiara.
President of Honiara Amateur Boxing Association, John Firifote said he was thrilled about the success of the competition over the week end at the Multipupose Hall after the sport was inactive for quite a long period.
According to HABA, the next bout will be staged at the end of this month with more clubs expected to participate in the competition.
Meanwhile the President thanked all clubs that took part in the official commencement of boxing competition in the country.
