As well as being a very talented netballer, Jasmin also has the distinct advantage of having a dual New Zealand and Australian citizenship plus she’s a proud Cook Islander who hopes to one day play for her home country.
In fact, Jasmin trialled out for the Cook Islands under 21 World Youth Championships team but was a tad young for the squad.
But the youngster has her eyes locked on the next world youth championships in Glasgow, Scotland in 2013 as she will still be eligible for the under 21 event.
Jasmin has just finished playing for Queensland where she captained her team to victory, got player of the team, player of the final and was selected for the Australian under 16 squad.
While netball is her main game, she also enjoys athletics and represented Queensland this year in a number of athletics meets.
Jasmin has just one more year of school left and plans to head to New Zealand to attend Auckland University after she completes her 2010 studies.
Good Luck with your endeavours in life and fingers crossed she represents the Cook Islands and not New Zealand or Australia in the near future.
