Cook Islands Cricket umpiring course was a success. From this course they were able to appoint applicants to these new umpiring position with the association. John Beasley and Apii Mamanu were awarded these positions and are very excited to be part of the growth in Cricket in the Cook Islands.
"I am very happy to be selected as an umpire coordinator along side Apii. Is was obviously during our training that we have got a great group of people who have put their hands up to be umpires. I think all players would have noticed increased quality and confidence on the field and this will mean the game will be better for everyone. I look forward to being able to assist all umpires in their important role," Said John Beasley.
CISNOC would like to congratulate both John and Apii on their great achievement and would also like to congratulate Cricket for their new coordinators for umpires and wish them all the best with their next season.
We would also like to acknowledge Cook Islands News for the news article.
