Below is a PDF Proxy Voting Form.
Nominations for the Fencing Victoria Executive.
There are 4 positions for Executive Directors available at this election. We have received only 1 Nomination.
Geoff Webber
As a retiring member of the Executive under the recently adopted Association Rules, I am re-nominating for a position as Director of Fencing Victoria for a 2 year term. I would seek to continue the work of the current Executive team which enters a period of consolidation following the implementation of a modern governance model and the establishment of robust organisational reporting and compliance processes. There remains work to be completed in this area.
Further investigation will be made of a common reporting and membership recording platform to satisfy increasing ASC requirements of State Associations from Club level through to State and National level and will build on the governance framework that has been operational in FV currently. Other challenges for the coming term include building relationships with the co-tenants of the state facility building to capitalise on increasing participation numbers at State level and for hosted events at the National level.
I am a member of Blacklords Fencing Club and an active competitive Veteran fencer (who would be more competitive if I trained more frequently....)
