Asian Championships
Fencing Victoria congratulates the following Victorian fencers on their performance at Asian Senior Championships in Singapore last week.
Men's Foil : Ned Fitzgerald 16th, Lucas Webber 17th, Matt Foster 39th / Men's Foil Team - 5th
Women's Foil : Emily Marotta 22nd + Women's Foil Team - 6th
Men's Epee : Kristian Radford 37th, Will Dolley 44th / Men's Epee Team - 6th
Women's Epee : Jo Halls 12th, Diana Sher 14th, Evelyn Halls 17th, Dianna Gu 33rd / Women's Epee Team 5th
Fencing Victoria also thanks the support crew many of whom are from Victoria (coaches, manager, physio, photographer/cheer squad/psychologist) : Vlad Sher, Robert Di Pasquale, Adam Reynolds, Murray Thompson, Amy Reynolds.

Universiade
Fencing Victoria congratulates Victorian Fencers Amy Reynolds (Women's Epee - (top 64 - 46) and Lucas Webber (Men's Foil - top 32 -28) on their performance this week at World Universiade in Gwangju Korea.
Universiade is a combination of “University” and “Olympiade” and is held every second year. To be eligible to compete athletes must be undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at University and be between the ages of 17 and 28.
Universiade is the largest multi-sporting event after the Olympics. The next World Universiade will be in Taipei in 2017.
