The Sporting Uniform Grants Program is both a very popular and competitive program for funding grass roots sporting and recreational clubs. Applications from any club meeting the eligibility criteria are encouraged. Sport and Recreation Victoria are constantly reviewing their grant management processes to attempt to make this process as easy as possible for applicants.
The key advice given is -
1) to thoroughly read the Program Guidelines before applying, as conditions have
changed from previous funding rounds.
2) to consider their application as early as possible, particularly as a quote for uniforms intended to be purchased is a compulsory part of the application, and this can take time. Many applicants miss getting their application submitted by the deadline or are ineligible because they leave their application until the last minute.
