Well, the Under-20 National Championships in Melbourne were a great success. With about 15% more entries than last year, it proved to be a well-attended and highly competitive event. Victorian fencers were joined by athletes from other states, as well as a large contingent of New Zealanders and some boys from Singapore.
Fencing Victoria wishes to thank all of the orange-shirted "Crew" (volunteers) who gave their time to set up, man the scoring boxes, test weapons, sell food & drinks and merchandise, and pack up when all of the fun was over.
