The AFF Excellence Awards are an initiative begun in 2003 to recognise excellence in all aspects of the sport of Fencing, from competitor, administrator, volunteer, clubs and state associations.
The AFF Excellence Awards are presented during the Senior & Veteran National Championships.
There are two categories in the Awards that are now open to nominations from the Fencing public:
The Robyn Chaplin OAM Award for Outstanding Service to Australian FencingThis Award seeks to recognise individuals and/or groups associated with the AFF who have provided valuable services to Australian Fencing in any capacity within the previous year. This may include (but not be limited to) officials, coaches, volunteers, athletes or groups of these people.
The Innovation AwardThis Award seeks to recognise states, clubs or individuals associated with the AFF who have identified and followed through with innovative ideas that will further the interests of Australian Fencing.
Nominations should be made on the form below and emailed to:
admin@ausfencing.orgFull conditions and eligibility criteria can be found in the attached AFF Awards Policy.
The closing date for nominations for both of these awards is Friday 16th October 2009.
