Australian Selections
South Australia is represented in both the Australian Under 19 Men (Emus) and Under 21 Women (Sapphires) teams, announced by Basketball Australia this month.
Full team lists are available in previous new articles, and include Shannon Seebohm (Millicent/Forestville), Abby Bishop (Laura/Forestville), Renae Camino (Adelaide Lightning), Rebecca Duke (Adelaide Lightning/Forestville), Cayla Francis (Eastern). Seebohm, Bishop and Francis are all South Australians that have been identified via the Basketball Australia Intensive Training Centre program, National Championships and the Australian Institute of Sport.
Both the Emus and the Sapphires teams will participate in World Championships later this year.
