After last weekend's Central ABL double header, the finalists of the men's competition are almost set, however in the women's competition positions are still "up for grabs".

Norwood, North Adelaide and Forestville men are guaranteed of finals berths, and West and Sturt are likely to fill the remaing two positions. Woodville and South Adelaide are within two and three games respectively of the top five, but Sturt and West Adelaide each have three of their remaining four games against teams in the bottom half, so are likely to retain 4^th and 5^th spot. If North and Norwood win their remaining games, the game between them on July 14 at Hillcrest will determine the minor premier.

The women's final five is a bit more open. Sturt need to win just one of their last three games to cement top spot, as they're three games clear of North. North, West and Norwood will fight it out for 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th, while any of Southern, South and Forestville could earn the 5^th spot. Their opponents in the remaining rounds are:

Southern:     West, South, Eastern and Forestville.

South:            North, Southern, Sturt and Eastern.

Forestville:   bye, Norwood, West and Southern.

Forestville's run home is the toughest. The Eagles already a game and a half behind fifth place, so may be a rare omission from the finals.

The game between Southern and South at Morphett Vale on June 30 will be critical to both teams' chances. If the teams end up tied, Southern's 8 point victory earlier in the season could be a factor.
