Davidson to coach Bearcats Men

The West Adelaide Bearcats Basketball Club is pleased to confirm the appointment of Brad Davidson as their Men’s Head Coach for the 2009 season.

Brad has played with a number of NBL Clubs including Townsville Crocodiles, Cairns Taipans, Hunter Pirates, Singapore Slingers and currently the Adelaide 36ers. In 2008 Brad was the Adelaide 36ers Team Man Award winner. Brad also won a Commonwealth Games Gold Medal at the 2006 Games representing Australia.

As a player Brad has been coached by some of the best and most successful coaches in NBL history including Brian Goorjian, Adrian Hurley, Phil Smyth and Ian Stacker.

Brad brings to the Bearcats a wealth of player experience since 1997 and elite coach exposure at NBL level that will be fully utilized in the coaching role.

The club looks forward to Brad’s involvement at senior and junior levels within the club.
