Foresville and Sturt 2010 Premiers
Forestville Women and Sturt Men were the big winners on Grand Final day of the 2010 Central ABL.
The Forestville Eagles were victorious over the West Adelaide Bearcats in the women's game 73-54, the Eagles setting up the victory with a 42-26 first half. Mia Newley who finished with 16 points and 17 rebounds was named Grand Final MVP.
In the men's game, the Sturt Sabres defeated the West Adelaide Bearcats 91-82. The game was tied at 31 with 3 minutes left in the second quarter, then the Sabres went on a 31-10 run, before holding on to win by 9. Jacob Holmes finished with a triple double of 22 points, 24 rebounds and 10 assists, and was named Grand Final MVP.
