Men

South Adelaide Panthers (7-7) v North Adelaide Rockets (9-4)

The Panthers and Rockets will attempt to build on their impressive recent runs of form when they go head-to-head at Marion, in the Match of the Round.

The Panthers defeated Forestville last week, while the Rockets suffered just their fourth loss, going down to Woodville.

These teams have been involved in two thrillers already this season, with their series tied at 1-1.

Sturt Sabres (5-8) v Southern Tigers (1-12)

The Sabres will be attempting to keep their fading finals hopes alive, when they host the Tigers at Pasadena.

The Sabres were blown out by West last week, while the Tigers got thumped by Norwood.

The Sabres are 2-0 against the Tigers this year.

Central District Lions (3-10) v Woodville Warriors (12-2)

The Lions will need a complete form reversal in order to beat the Warriors at Starplex.

The Lions have won just three of 13 games this season, and their recent head-to-head record against the Warriors looks even uglier.

The Lions lost again to Eastern in the previous round, while the Warriors overcame North.

The Warriors are 2-0 against the Lions in 2015.

Forestville Eagles (6-7) v Norwood Flames (11-3)

The Eagles will be trying to avoid falling further behind the top five when they meet the Flames at Wayville.

The Eagles’ loss to South last time out means they are effectively a game behind the fifth placed Panthers. The Flames, who are second, easily accounted for Southern.

The Eagles are yet to beat the Flames in two battles this campaign.

Eastern Mavericks (3-10) v West Adelaide Bearcats (10-4)

The Mavericks will be aiming to continue their push up the ladder when they clash with the Bearcats at Adelaide Hills.

After being the final team to earn a win this year, the Mavericks now hold the tiebreaker in eighth, thanks to last week’s win over Centrals. The Bearcats cemented their hold on third by defeating Sturt.

The Bearcats can complete a 3-0 sweep by defeating the Mavericks.

Women

South Adelaide Panthers (6-8) v North Adelaide Rockets (10-3)

The Panthers will be hoping to get back to winning ways, when they clash with the Rockets at Marion.

The Panthers’ loss to ninth ranked Forestville last round means they are now tied with West for fifth place, and with Southern and Eastern only one win below.

The Rockets earned some breathing space for second spot, by defeating Woodville.

The Rockets and Panthers are 1-1 head-to-head this year.

Sturt Sabres (8-5) v Southern Tigers (5-8)

The Sabres will be keen to put last week’s disappointing 2OT loss to West behind them, and cement their fourth seed, when they host the Tigers at Pasadena.

The Tigers went down to Norwood last round, meaning they failed to gather the league’s fifth best winning percentage.

The Sabres can complete a 3-0 sweep of the Tigers with a win here.

Central District Lions (1-12) v Woodville Warriors (8-6)

The Warriors will be hoping to avoid a repeat of their shock loss to the Lions, in their Round 14 trip to Starplex.

The Lions’ recent 72-60 win over the Warriors is the only win for the Gawler side in the last two seasons.

The Warriors suffered another setback against North last week, while the Lions lost to Eastern.

This series is tied at 1-1.

Forestville Eagles (4-9) v Norwood Flames (14-0)

The Eagles will be hoping the addition of Carla Borrego can assist them in upsetting the unbeaten Flames at Wayville.

Borrego, who is notorious for dominating the Flames, helped the Eagles close the deficit on the top five with a win over South last week. The Flames overcame Southern.

The Flames are 2-0 against the Eagles to date in 2015.

Eastern Mavericks (5-8) v West Adelaide Bearcats (6-8)

In the Match of the Round, the Mavericks and Bearcats will continue their finals pushes, with a crucial clash at Adelaide Hills.

The Bearcats have been in good form of late, and their 2OT win over Sturt has helped them into a tie for fifth with South (South holds the tiebreaker).

The Mavericks likewise earned an important win, over Centrals, which has kept them within half a game of the Port Adelaide outfit.

The Mavericks and Bearcats are locked at one win apiece in 2015, so the winner will earn a potentially vital tiebreaker advantage.
