The 2014 Halls Woollacott Awards will be presented in a ceremony at the Ian McLachlan Room at Adelaide Oval on Sunday 24/8/14 from 12pm.

For those attending the event, please see the following important information regarding access to the venue.

Event Details
The event is in the Ian McLachlan Room, which is on level 3 of the Western stand at Adelaide Oval. Doors open at 12pm.

Street Closure
War Memorial Drive will be closed from 6am-1pm on Sunday due to the Adelaide Running Festival, so please allow additional time to get to the venue.

Pedestrian Access
Where possible, we’d encourage you to arrive via taxis or public transport. If you’re on foot, you will be able to enter via the Telstra Plaza entrance out the front of the South Gate/Riverbank Stand, there will be directional signage through to the Ian McLachlan Room in the Western Stand.

Parking
For those that are driving, the attached map indicates two available car parks, and how to get to the Ian McLachlan room from each car park.

One option is the new underground Wilson Car Park under the Eastern stand (enter from King William Road). Guests will then need to take lifts to level 1 in the east, then walk around along the concourse to the Riverbank Stand, then to the Western Stand. A special function rate of $13 per car can be offered, guests will need to get their ticket validated before they leave the function room to receive this rate, or they will be subject to the public rate which could be $20+ per car.

Another option is to enter from Pennington Tce, North Adelaide, down Pennington Lane (there is car parking on the right) to the Bob Quinn Gates, then follow the direction signage. Car parking charges will apply at $10 per car. This car park is not undercover.

All car parking is limited and available on a first-come first-serve basis.

There is limited ticketed street car parking nearby and some guests may walk over the Riverbank footbridge and then enter from the Southern Plaza, just off War Memorial Drive.
