The West Adelaide Bearcats have posted their second win for 2014 in a convincing victory against the Central Districts Lions.
The West Adelaide Bearcats' defence made short work of the Central Districts Lions limiting them to only 14 points in the paint combined with 48 rebounds, 15 steals and forcing 21 turnovers from the Lions. The Bearcats' stellar teamwork continued into the attack with 22 assists, 18 points off turnover and 10 second chance points.
Standouts for Centrals were Aimee Herriman and Samantha Saunders who scored 19 and 11 points respectively.
Kate Shierlaw had a great night for the Bearcats with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 steals. She was supported by Sky Lagenbrinck with 15 points, 7 assists and 4 steals while Trudy Holland led her team and the game on the boards with 14 rebounds.
