The Central Districts Lions Men notched up a comfortable win against reigning premiers the Forestville Eagles on Saturday night.
It was a fairly even match up on paper, however the Lion's had enough hunger to gain ground quarter by quarter. The Lion's consistently outscored their opponent each quarter systematically building their respectable 20 point winning margin.
Chris Clausen, Jordan Centernera and Keith Miller proved an efficient combination for the Lions while Brad Gerlach, Neil Mottram and Trent Fildes put out strong performances for Forestville.
