Ben Todd Named Coach of the Year of the Women's League

Central Districts' Ben Todd is this year's recipient of the Coach of the Year award for the Central ABL Women's league.

Todd had a long career as a player in the Central ABL, and started this year as an assistant coach of the Lions' men's team, before taking over the reins of the women's team after the mid-season resignation of Tony Moore. Centrals finished the minor round with a 9 and 9 record, and entered its first finals series since 1996. The team was on the brink of an amazing elimination final upset against grand finalist Forestville, before eventually going down by three after leading for most of the game.
