Northern Adelaide Clash - Men
In the game of 8th V 10th the stronger North Adelaide team prevailed in an entertaining game.
North were able to suit up Brandon Brine for the first time, who contributed two dunks and 8 points to the total of 74.
Seasoned younger Daniel Carlin was the game high scorer with 20 for Centrals who looked to be getting better as they bring through some youth and attract some seasoned players to the club. Dan’s points, plus 14 rebounds, gave him a double double.
North led all game, until quite late in the game, when Centrals led by four. Tommy Rowe hit a three-pointer to put North back in the game, but the North superior shooting saw them re-gain the lead and then win the game by a modest 6 points.
Long-time North junior, now senior, Matt Lycett had another impressive game with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Rhys Carter will be a loss to the Rockets, when Sweden beckons.
