Madgen wins Halls Medal

The 2010 Halls medal for the best and fairest player in the Central ABL Women's competition, has been won by Eastern's Tess Madgen.

Tess won the award with 37 votes, 5 clear of West's Nikita-Lee Martin on 32. Madgen is the second Halls medallist from Eastern, and joins Cayla Francis who won in 2008.

Madgen received eight first preference votes, six second preferences and one third. She was also the winner of the Merv Harris award, as the highest vote-poller under the age of 21.
