In the remaining minutes of the quarter Brad Hill, Jordan Dodman and Ben Madgen established a mini break to start the last quarter up 57 – 51. In the last, Todd Matthews (Flames) started a run with two 3 pointers early and when he scored his third basket of the quarter the Flames had established a match winning break (71 – 60).
