SHERBROOKE SUNS JNR REP COACHING DIRECTOR
Brent is currently in his second season as Sherbrooke’s Youth Championship Coach and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Previously, Brent has been:
Assistant Coach – Dandenong VYCM in 2015 & 2016
Dandenong WNBL Development Coach 2014
18 & under State School Boys selector 2015
Basketball Vic Camp coach 2018
Basketball Vic Tryout coach 2017 & 2018
NITP & NPP coach 2018.
Sherbrooke’s President, Mick Spruhan stated “Over the last 18 months, Brent has really bought into the culture that is uniquely Sherbrooke. He has a passion to work with and assist other coaches develop and will be drawing on the experience of our other Senior Representative coaches as well. It is testament to Sherbrooke that Brent wants to become more involved with the development of our Junior Rep program.”
Brent will be at Friday night games, observing and providing feedback to coaches. He will also attend Sunday trainings on a regular basis to assist coaches and players. Coach’s clinics will also be commencing soon.
“I am very excited to be part of the development and growth of the Suns. In my time here, the organisation has shown itself to be keen to improve all areas, willing to listen to suggestions and strive to become the “Club of Choice”. I want to be a part of that and believe I can contribute and make a difference” Brent said.
