TEAM MANAGER POSITION

The Sherbrooke Suns invite applications from suitable qualified individuals interested in applying to be a staff member for the 2018 Sherbrooke SUNS Big V Women’s Program.

The Team Manager will be required to manage the best interests of the Sherbrooke Amateur Basketball Association known as Sherbrooke Basketball

The Team Manager will be responsible for:

• In conjunction with the Head Coach assist in the development of a consistent culture in the team;
• Liaising with Sherbrooke Basketball to ensure all operational requirements are determined and implemented for all team activities, including training and games;
• Ensuring all equipment and uniforms required for the team are organised;
• Assisting the head coach to carry out the program that has been developed;
• Maintain with the coaching staff the discipline and behaviour of the team at all times when they are representing Sherbrooke SUNS in any activity;
• On a day-to-day basis, the manager will be responsible for working with the head coach to administer the team’s program, which will be determined by the head coach in consultation with the Sherbrooke Basketball Committee of Management
• A Working with Children Check is essential
• First aid qualifications are desirable

The Team Manager will be required to travel to all games and some training sessions. The competition season starts in the middle of March and runs through to the end of July.
