All senior community clubs that go online to register their information including their specific planned '150 Years' activities will automatically be in the running to win the major prize:-

Community Football Weekend- May 9-11

Community clubs across the country are finalising their preparations for the weekend.
Brentwood Booragoon FC, WA
The Brentwood Booragoon Football Club in the WA Amateur Football League has planned a carnival day to take place on May 10. The club has organised live entertainment and activities for the kids and has invited friends and relatives of all players, sponsors and life-members of the club.
Dingley FC, VIC
The Dingley Football Club will take on Hampton in Division Two of the Southern Football League on Community Football Weekend. The clubs will run a number of activities on Saturday May 10, including a ladies luncheon, an Auskick grid game and a jumping castle for the kids to enjoy.
Bullcreek Leeming JFC
Junior football clubs are also getting involved in the celebrations, with clubs such as Bullcreek Leeming organising activities for Community Football Weekend. Friday May 9 is the club’s big day with 150 Auskick kids to take part in the program under lights. Past and present volunteers will also be honoured on the Friday night and club legends will present medals to all participating players.

Hall of Fame Tribute Match, Saturday May 10 - Tickets on sale now
Tickets for the greatest football match in 150 years are now on sale. The Hall of Fame Tribute Match at the MCG on the evening of Saturday, May 10 will see Victoria led by Jonathan Brown take on the Dream Team, captained by Andrew McLeod in the best line-up of players ever assembled.

The Australian Football Experience
The Australian Football Experience continues its journey around the country, arriving in Queensland last week. Its first major stopover was in Broadbeach where AFL Queensland Ambassador Richard Champion was on hand to meet and greet locals. Saturday April 19 saw Australian Football Ambassador Kevin Sheedy join the Australian Football Experience in Toowoomba to celebrate 150 Years of Australian Football at the tour’s second major stopover in Queensland .
The Australian Football Experience will continue to make its way through Queensland with major stops in:
- Brisbane - Sunday 27 April
- Noosa - Saturday 3 May
- Rockhampton - Saturday 10 May - (Community Football Weekend)
- Townsville - Saturday 17 May
- Cairns - Saturday 24 May

Champions of our game
Sheryl Ward has been a junior football volunteer for more than 20 years.
She first became involved in community football as a volunteer with South Coogee Junior Football Club. Sheryl organised sausage sizzles, helped in the canteen and later joined the committee as treasurer at the club.
Sheryl also spent seven years on the Fremantle Coastal Regional Junior Football Council and three years as District Football Development Council Secretary for the South Fremantle District.
For the past 10 years her role on the council has involved organising events in conjunction with the Fremantle Dockers, assisting with coordinating match days and finals, attending the tribunal on hearing nights and arranging all trophy and shield events.
In 2006 Sheryl was recognised as the WA Football Commission Volunteer of the Year.
On top of all this, Sheryl still manages to attend a junior game each weekend.
