Mackay City Hawks and North Mackay Saints will go head to head in the 2016 AFL Mackay Division 2 Men's Grand-Final from 1:15pm.
The Hawks will go into this match as red-hot favourites, boasting a 10-3 record and the minor premiership. Mackay City are the number one offensive and defensive team in the competition and are up against the late surging North Mackay Saints.
North Mackay lost their first six games of the season before gaining momentum and securing third position on the ladder.
Both teams boast players that can turn a match quickly, for Mackay City the likes of Bradley Smith, Mark Nicolson and Brad Best are seasoned campaigners. As for the marching Saints, the likes of Shaun Carter, Darren McGrath and John Eddy are the go to men for the Saints two's.
Brendan Riddle and Christopher Dunbar are keys inside the forward fifty, as are the Hawks Sean Reilly and Beau Reid.
Can the Mackay City Hawks kick-start a day, as the club looks to collect two senior premierships or will the Saints finish off a fantastic club day with the Division 2 premiership cup.
An interesting match and one not to miss.
