The North Mackay Saints will travel to Moranbah to take on the Bulldogs in the Round 3 AFL Mackay Premier Women's match of the round.
Moranbah are coming off the bye and will be fresh for their home match against the Saints who ran out 26-point victors against the Eastern Swans. Rahnee Vaccaneo and Allyce Marchetti were the Saints best and will need to be watched by the Bulldogs midfield brigade.
For the Bulldogs, trio Jennifer Revell, Scout Hinchliffe and Sian Rose should all be watched closely and will be beaming with confidence after recent selection into the AFL Mackay Women's Academy.
The last time these two sides met was in Round 15 last season where North Mackay ran out 7.8 (50) to 2.4 (16) victors on the day.
Don't expect this match to be one-sided like the previous match up, with the both sides gaining new recruits over the off-season and the Bulldogs will always be a difficult task for any side visiting Stevenson Park. This match kicks off at 11:10am in Moranbah.
In the weekend's other fixtures, the Eastern Swans will be looking to do the unachievable thus far and that is defeating the undefeated Magpies Mackay at Magpies Sports Parks. After their 26-point loss last week the Swans will be looking to continue to apply their continuous pressure style of footy.
The Magpies will need to make sure they come into this game with a clear mind-set, as it is only a matter of time before they lose this game. All the pressure is on the undefeated reigning premiers.
And the Bakers Creek Tigresses will enjoy the bye.
