Finals are here and week 1 is full of blockbusters, as Magpies Sports Park host the Elimination Finals. We preview the Isuzu UTE Juniors competitions.
Week 1 Explained: On Saturday, the Qualifying Finals will be held at Rogers Oval for competitions. This is where 1st versus 2nd, with the winner to advance straight to this years Grand-Final and the loser to play the winner of the Sunday Elimination Finals between 3rd and 4th of each competition.
Under 17 Isuzu UTE Cup - Elimination Final Preview
The Eastern Swans will go head to head with the Whitsunday Sea Eagles, with the winner to progress to the Preliminary Final next week and the defeated side, to start their off-season.
For the Swans, the likes of Steven Quarrell, Harrison Arnold, Felix Hadok-Quadrio and Jayde Mellross will be players too watch, with this quartet the main go-to players for the red and white. And, the Sea Eagles will be looking to Hudson McGregor, Jacob Healey, Mitchell Healy and Ben Strobel as the kick-starters for the Airlie Beach based team.
Whitsunday are coming in with in-consistent form that includes a last start, loss and only two wins over the past 5 weeks.
As for the Eastern Swans, they boast one extra win, including a mental edge with a win over the Sea Eagles in Round 13 by 53-points at Rogers Oval. Whichever side can settle their finals nerves the earliest and resort to their normal structures the quickest, will win this match up.

Under 14 Isuzu UTE Shield - Elimination Final Preview
Traditional rivals senior rivals, North Mackay and Mackay Magpies have built up quite the rivalry this season and this match will be no different.
The Magpies boast the likes of Central Queensland representatives in Reegan Underwood, Bailey Stewart along with North Queensland representatives Brooke Laffan and Lily Tarlinton. This quartet have dominated the Under 14 competition all season and will again need to combine to lift their side to elimination finals success.
For the Saints, Gold Coast SUNS Academy player Brody Morris has had another stellar season and has been well supported by the likes of Damon O'Dwyer (55-goals), Bailey Wilkie and Jackson Hamann.
Both sides have quality players and the previous mentioned quartets influence on the contest will be important to which ever side is to keep their season alive. A match not to miss in the Isuzu UTE juniors and one that could come down to one final kick.

Under 12 Isuzu UTE Trophy - Elimination Final Preview
The pride of the Pioneer Valley, will travel in and play the Eastern Swans and the dewy, wet conditions will be something to get use to at the Magpies Sports Park.
These two sides come into this match knowing it is going to be tight, in Round 10 the Swans won by 9-points and way back in Round 3, they shared the points in a thrilling draw at Etwell Park.
The Eastern Swans are the form team of the Isuzu UTE Trophy, with three wins from their last four matches, propelling them to finish in third position on the final home and away ladder. Both sides have a trio of players too watch.
For the Power, Maison Staas, Xavier Bone and Hayden Evetts are the go to players have had superb seasons so far. And for the Swans, Coby Saunders, Brodie Evans and Luke Veivers are the key players for the red and white. A match to keep an eye on, as the next generation of stars strut their stuff and look to keep their seasons alive.
