It was entertaining for those in attendance as the Magpies ran, linked and piled on 4 unanswered goals in the opening term putting the Saints on the back-foot from the first bounce.
Basketballer Rylie Smith was superb in the Magpies midfield as was Lisa Millard and AJ Smith, to Smiths credit shook an early tag to dominate the match with her damaging left foot.
Naomi Tempy was also impressive with her defensive pressure inside the forward 50 and bagged two majors of her own. Tina Hancock added four more goals to her 2015 tally.

Allied Pickford's Cup: Eastern Swans 20.11 (131) def. Mackay City Hawks 8.4 (52)
The Eastern Swans are into the grand final after demolishing a lacklustre Mackay City Hawks outfit by 77 points. The match was expected to be tight, as both teams have been a class above all year. However the Swans were far too good for the Hawks, with their midfield dominating to setup the win.
Swans coach Brad McLaren said it was a "fantastic effort".
"To play the Hawks, who are just a quality outfit and have been for many years, to get through is just a credit to our boys," he said.
"The game itself was a lot tighter than probably the score shows."
For the Swans Nicholas Kempe had a day out kicking a bag. Their midfielders Terry Bailey, Dean Backwell and Rocklyn Miller were classy throughout the game.
For the Hawks quality midfielder Desmond Hayes tried valiantly all day but could not lift his team enough.
McLaren said his team's centre and half back line were a big reason for the win. "To hold them to eight goals, our back line must have done something pretty well," he said.
"Going forward we probably didn't take our opportunities enough but across the back and the midfield was pretty good all year."
In the other game North Mackay Saints beat Magpies in the elimination final. The Swans, who remain undefeated this year will have a week off before meeting the winner of this weekend's game between the Hawks and Saints.
McLaren said nothing would change with the week off.
