This Friday will mark the end of the under light junior matches for the Under 7, Under 9 and Under 11 competitions.
The matches will take place on Harrup Park, Oval 9 with the Under 7's getting underway at 5:00pm.
From 6:00pm six club Under 9 sides will strut their stuff as the Sarina Demons verse Mackay Magpies, Mackay City Hawks take on the North Mackay Saints and the Pioneer Power go head to head with the Eastern Swans.
Then from 7:00pm the under 11's get underway with the Pioneer Power facing the North Mackay Saints and Eastern Swans facing the Mackay Magpies.
AFL Queensland Regional Manager said it has been another fantastic season of the non-competitive juniors and the region is in good hands with plenty of future stars shining.
"Another terrific season for the non-competitive juniors, we definitely have quite a few up and coming stars coming through," Regional Manager Jeff Neumann said.
"We have plenty of talented boys and girls running around, no doubt we definitely have the next David Armitage or Alana McNabb running in our junior teams," Neumann added.
"I urge everyone to come down and catch the juniors at Harrup Park on Friday night, definitely some fantastic football that is played."
However, this isn't the last chance to catch the non-competitive juniors with the end of season annual carnival to take place on Sunday 23rd August with the host club to be announced shortly.
"This isn't the last chance to catch the junior stars, we will finish the year with a bang with the annual end of year carnival," Neumann added.
"However, it may just be the last chance to watch non-competitive juniors on a Friday night with possible restructures in season 2016," Regional Manager Neumann said.
Harrup Park Country Club is the place to catch the action this Friday night (14-Aug) and football spectators are urged to use the Lamb Street car park entrance.
