Round 15 Allied Pickford's Cup action has concluded and the winners are in....
The Moranbah Bulldogs have recorded back to back wins at home, with an impressive win over the Mackay Magpies, while the Hawks and Saints continued their march towards September.
Jarred Van Hees has led the way for the Moranbah Bulldogs as the 2014 premiers celebrated their 40th year and they did it in style. Van Hees kicked three as the Bulldogs defeated a Magpies missing their usual flare. Dan Pullan, Adam Foley and Luke Chadwick chipped in as the other multiple goal-kickers on the ground.
It was a tight tussle in the opening stanza but the defensive effort by the Bulldogs after quarter was very impressive, keeping the Magpies goal-less in the second and third quarters.
The Magpies did hit back in the last term with three majors and were lucky Moranbah struggled in front of the goals, as the final margin could have been a lot larger.
Magpies half-back flanker Brandon Ross was by the Magpies best.

David Edwards booted 7-majors and Chayse Tilley was superb, as the Saints wiped away any chance of three straight losses with a big 100 point win over Bakers Creek.
A lot of pressure was on the third placed Saints and they responded in the best way possible, with 9 individual goal-kickers North Mackay would be pleased with their scoring options going forward.

Mackay City Hawks flexed their muscles in Airlie Beach as the 2014 Grand-Finalists ran out 124point winners at Whitsunday Sports Park. The victory was set up by an impressive 7 goal second quarter and a fantastic defensive effort keeping the home-side to just 4 majors for the afternoon.
For Whitsundays Mitchell Brockley was best on ground and kicked 2 of the Sea Eagles 4 goals.
