It is another action packed weekend of footy across the region and Round 14 is set to deliver some entertaining matches across all competitions.

Magpies Sports Park, Glenella
AFL past greats Peter Daicos, John Barnes and Doug Hawkins will be special guest assistant coaches for the Mackay Magpies Allied Pickford’s Cup match against the North Mackay Saints before the trio of stars mic up for the Magpies Sportsmans Dinner at the Magpies Sports Club. Not only will past greats be in attendance but competitive juniors will be played for the first time this season, which will be a massive boost for the black and white as they look to expand through their juniors in 2016. The Eastern Swans have faced very difficult times over the last 12-18months with several members of their club passing away. Round 14 will see the undefeated Eastern Swans don a green and white strip instead of their usual red and white in memory of young star player Blake Bailey. Meanwhile in the Under 17 Isuzu UTE Cup it will be a show-down of the top two teams in massive head to head battle between the Swans and Sea Eagles. Entry per person cost.

It will be a standalone match between the Moranbah Bulldogs and Whitsunday Sea Eagles but if ever a mouth watering match, this is the one as the winner still has a chance at finals and the loser can just about pack up for season 2015. Free entry.

The Premier Women’s competition will take centre on the hallow turf of the home of footy in the region at Harrup Park when the Eastern Swans take on the Bakers Creek Tigresses in a massive match. Bakers Creek will be look to record their second win of the season and keep their very slim chances of a finals birth alive in their maiden season. Free entry.

One of the Under 13 Mackay Isuzu UTE Trophy premiership favourites the Sarina Demons host a rare standalone game against the North Mackay Saints, in a match that will shape the top four for the remainder of the season. Free entry.
