It was another action packed week of Mackay Isuzu UTE Trophy action, as the Sea Eagles claimed the four premiership points at home in a thriller and the Hawks kept their finals hopes alive.

Sea Eagles swoop on 8th win of the season
Ethan Boyle played one of his best games of the season to lead the Whitsunday Sea Eagles to a nail-biting two point victory over the North Mackay Saints in Airlie Beach.
Boyle was dominate across all four quarters and was able to push forward to kick his third goal of the season. Max Steel was also key in the Sea Eagles win, booting two majors in the close win. The home side trio of Callum McMurdo, Lachlan Draper and Jayden Clark were prolific and among the Whitsunday best players.
For the Saints Jonte Upton booted 3 goals, taking his season tally to 12 goals with Luke Turner and Ty Jenkins adding one goal each to the Saints tally.

Hawks win out in the South Mackay derby
It was an impressive second half defensive effort that has set up the Mackay City Hawks round 13 victory over the Eastern Swans to keep the brown and gold finals hopes flickering.
Reece Drake and Hamish Macdonald proved to be a dangerous combination inside the forward fifty, combining for six majors with three goals each. Andrew McGlashan played his best game of the season for the Hawks, with a best on ground performance judged by his coaches.
For the Swans, Caleb Gray was by far their best booting all three goals and was well supported by Callum Creeley and Coby Stevens.
