Two thrillers took place at the Whitsunday Sportspark on Saturday, with both the 13s and 15s posting nail-biting wins.
First up were the Sea Eagles' under-13s, who posted their second win of the season with a 5.4.34 to 4.7.31 victory over Sarina.
Whitsunday opened up a 21-point lead at the first break following an outstanding first quarter.
Sarina reduced the margin to 14 points at half time but a controlled third quarter saw the Sea Eagles hold sway by 20.
Whitsunday looked set for victory but to their credit a fast-finishing Sarina never surrendered, kicking 17 points to zero in the final quarter.
Although the Sea Eagles didn't hit the scoreboard in the fourth term, they were good enough to hold on for a three-point win.
Callum McMurdo, Max Steel and Ethan Boyle were all industrious in the victory for Whitsunday.
The under-15s produced their first win of the year, overcoming City Hawks 6.1.37 to 4.11.35.
The Sea Eagles were down by eight at the final change but finished with a wet sail, kicking two goals to nil.
Lachlan Spinner and Hudson McGregor each kicked two majors in the win.
