The AFL Capricornia Women's League was a huge success in 2010, over 100 women taking part in the competition. Every club was involved in the competition with the exception of Glenmore who unfortunately could not get a team together.
The level of skill improved each week with the girls showing some impressive passages of play in all matches. Everyone involved embraced the five week competition with players dedicated to both training and games.
A massive effort was made to make the competition happen, Di Hull a driving force behind the competition. A special mention must also be made to Megan Hunt who was a catalyst in getting interest and gaining momentum into starting the competition.
