This game between YEPPOON and BITS is shaping to be an amazing contest. Whilst BITS only scraped into the finals after winning theit last game of the season, Yeppoon suddenly faces the alarming possibility of exiting the finals in straight sets.
BITS must like their chances, having the week off and at full strength with the exception of Lucas Hall missing after badly injuring his knee against the Muddies in the final round. Yeppoon on the other hand had a big game last week against Brothers and will be still feeling the effects of a very physical game.
If their previous clashes this year are anything to go by, then Yeppoon should win this one after being the stronger team in all games between the sides this year. The results have been:
ROUND 1
Yeppoon 15.18 (108) defeated BITS 9.8 (62)
ROUND 6
Yeppoon 21.15 (141) defeated BITS 11.8 (74)
ROUND 11
Yeppoon 4.10 (94) defeated BITS 10.6 (66)
The BITS youngsters will need to be on fire if they are to really challenge the Swans. Whilst there is plenty of experience amongst the BITS line up, Dan Hunt, Nathan Hogg and Jamie Cunninghame will need to provide lots of run through the middle of the ground if they want to get the win.
