The local Port Curtis derby lived up to its reputation of always being close with the Gladstone Mudcrabs winning by 7 points. BITS Saints started of the better of the two teams and had a comfortable 3 goal lead at half-time. Youth proved to be the difference however with younger players Shane Eilola and Ben Coles firing in the second half.
