One of AFL Capricornia's favourite products has taken out the prestigious Bernie Gottke Medal following the conclusion of the Trend Interiors Carpet Court Premiership home and away fixtures. Darren Boase from the Boyne Island Tannum Sands Saints poled 23 votes ahead of Glenmore's James Miller at Saturday Nights Awards Presentations held at Quality Inn Center Point Motor Inn.

Runner up on the vote count was James Miller from the Glenmore Bulls with 20 votes.
Shaun McClure from the Boyne Island Club made it a double for the Saints taking out the Reserve Grade award with 15 votes. Shaun collected umpires votes early in the season and picked up a couple of late minor ones to hold of Geoff Peters (Glenmore) and Sebastian Palma (Yeppoon) who both tied for Runner Up on 12 votes.
