This weekend sees 3 games which really could be decided by the toss of a coin going on the results from Round 1.
In the first game, BITS takes on PANTHERS, both coming off a loss from last weekend. BITS are always strong at home and the Panthers will have to be at their best to get the win. Joel Ralph was impressive for the Panthers last week kicking 3 goals and getting plenty of the footy but will need plenty of support from team mates if they are to topple BITS. The big men in Damon Stebbings, Nathan Shipard and Jacob Mills may be enough to get BITS over the line at home.
The next game sees BROTHERS playing YEPPOON. With the teams at opposite ends of the ladder at the end of last year many would predict Yeppoon to win this quite comfortably. However, with quality young players like Ethan Rose and the recruitment of good forwards from Victoria in Cameron Adam and Charlie Ampt, Brothers will trouble a lot of teams this year.
The final game has GLADSTONE heading to Stenlake Park to take on GLENMORE. Both teams will be looking to get their second win for the year, coming off good solid wins last week. Gladstone will have one of the youngest sides in the competition this year and will look for good run from young guns Daniel Clay and Mitch Kotlar. The Panthers will be quietly confident after a good show last week and will be hoping Darcy Payne backs up his exceptional form he displayed in Round 1.
