Round 7 Preview
Gladstone Vs Glenmore
It’s hard to pick stand out players from the Muddies when they have such a good crop of footballers all over the ground. Having lost two games this season and one of them being at the hands of Glenmore, The Muddies will be looking forward to retain bragging rights. This time playing at home it could be a different story to last time they met.
Glenmore should never be underestimated; Gladstone found that out the hard way earlier in the season, The Bulls will know that it’ll be harder second time around. This young side has a lot of speed around the ground, and with the style of football Glenmore play; the bulls will have to be smart playing at Clinton Park which isn’t a large ground so they won’t have as much room to move.

Panthers Vs BITS
Panthers are showing good signs coming into round seven, young players such as the Pepper brothers and Gold Coast Suns Academy young guns Hamish Davidson and Steven Mills are showing great form each week as well as the Panthers senior list of players. It seems that Panthers are always with the top sides till three quarter time then get a lazy four or five goals kicked on them. If Panthers are to compete with BITS today they must not fall asleep in the fourth quarter.
BITS are hard to fault from the last six rounds, showing up sides with speed and skill, well worked zones and having big bodies around the ground helps. Being consistent comes naturally to some teams, and other teams find it hard to be consistent each week; The Saints have been consistently showing why they’re undefeated half way through the season. If BITS travel well they will be hard to beat.
BITS by 8 goals
Yeppoon Vs Brothers
The battle to keep off the bottom of the ladder; Yeppoon are playing at Swan Park today, and with rain about it could be anyone’s game. The Swans are lucky that their young players are stepping up each week and somewhat saving the side from being disgraced. These two sides have arguably the best Ruckmen in the league with Wes Hawke (Yeppoon) and Jason Dawson (Brothers) whoever wins the battle in the midfield will win the game.
Brothers haven’t had a start to a season like this in years. This week on paper the Roos have got a good side in, playing at Swan Park it is never easy, but if it is a wet day it will suit the hard and scrappy style of football that Brothers are renowned for. Both teams have a good list on paper, it will come down to who is ready to play, if both sides are firing it will be a great game of footy.
