After a week off the footy resumes this weekend. All clubs will be hoping the break has given players with niggling injuries the chance to recover and allow for some players to freshen up.
The first game between GLENMORE and YEPPOON should be interesting. Last time the two sides met Yeppoon won comfortably at home, Chapman kicking nine goals for the Swans on that occasion. However, the Bulls are coming off the back of a good win last game over BITS and will be looking to get another big scalp this weekend. If the Bulls can win then they will consolidate their spot in third position, yet a loss and they could potentially slide out of the top four.
The next game has BROTHERS travelling down to take on BITS. This game should be a fantastic contest, both teams will be desperate for a win. If Brothers can repeat their performance last side the teams met, where they won by 26 points, they will keep the pressure on Yeppoon for the top spot on the table.
BITS have been struggling recently, losing their past three and will be looking to get their season back on track. A loss here and they could well find themselves second last on the ladder, not a familiar position for the club. A key for them will be stopping Aiden Colbourne. He is averaging six goals a game and sets up plenty more for Brothers, so he must be shut down.
The final game of the weekend is between GLADSTONE and PANTHERS. They are occupying the bottom spots on the ladder and will be desperate for a win this weekend. Panthers have continued their improvement in recent weeks, whilst the Muddies have the opportunity to possibly move into third position if a couple of results go there way.
Both sides will regain key players for this clash - Nick Stanley returns for the Muddies after missing the past three through injury, whilst Joel Ralph will be back for the Panthers after missing their last game.
