AFL Queensland Regional Manager – Capricornia Scott Smithwick, said the squad is based purely and simply on getting the best players possible in the age group based on skill, speed and attitude together for this championships.
“We believe we have selected a squad which will suit the conditions in Airlie Beach, with the focus on fast ball movement and the amount of pressure you can put the opposition under. We have some really fast players in the side that will be exciting to too watch,” Smithwick added.
The remaining paper work and final details will be handed out at the next training session.
