The newly married Shaw now has 72 goals for the year and is an outside chance of cracking the century with four games left in the regular season.
While Shaw’s contribution to his side’s 22.11 (143) to 11.12 (78) triumph was major to say the least, the Crocs have proved this year that their firepower is not delivered from just one barrel.
The AFL Cairns ladder leaders boast three of the top-five goal kickers this season and resemble a Gatling gun when fully loaded.
Crocs coach Andy Viola said his side always made sure they had multiple scoring options.
"We’ve got a really good spread in that area and we work on that in training," he said.
"If Sammy (Boxall) is not getting them, then Craig Shaw will pop up, little Smithy (Daniel Smith) and even Coops (Bradley Cooper) is averaging three goals a game.
