The AFL Masters National Carnival will be a huge event for Cairns, particularly with North Queensland fielding a team in the competition for the first time.
It's going to be the biggest carnival as far as particpants in a huge function next Thursday that I'll host.
I've also been talked into having a run with the Queensland over-40s if they happen to make it through to the final.
The last game i played was in EJ Whitten Legends game in which i tore my calf.
I reckon there's a fair chance I'll do the same next week but I wouldn't miss the chance to have a run.
