``We've played eight quarters of championship footy and been leading for six of them yet not won a game,'' Lynch said.
``Certainly in the Vic Country game there was a gap in talent so the effort to get to a position we were at took a lot of gas out of us. We lost Bradley Symmons early in the game.
``There was not that excuse against the Northern Territory, nor will there be that excuse against Queensland. We've got to dig deep.''
Co-captain, key onballer Symmons had an operation on his medial ligament in his knee and will miss 10 weeks -- including Tasmania's last three under-18s games.
The game starts at 11am.TASMANIA: FB: Jacob Gillbee (vc), Jamie Clippingdale, Rudy Barrett. HB: Brayden Webb, Daniel Archer, Marcus Davies (vc). C: Josh Green, Jesse Crichton, Vin Ponsonby.
