After the five-hour meeting Wade said all parties left feeling more confident about the minor issues at hand.
Another meeting is scheduled for October 30 with the club presidents, a date when Wade is hoping each club will sign the licence agreements.
``It was predominantly a meeting about football operations,'' Wade said.
``The clubs had the opportunity to make some decisions concerning things such as the salary cap, size of the player lists and finals series.
``But most significant was the commitment of the clubs to move ahead and move ahead together.
``The next significant meeting is on october 30, when the 10 club presidents are invited to a meeting with our directors.
``Really, that's the day we would like to think the clubs will have committed to the licence agreements.''
In yesterday's Mercury, North Hobart chairman Paul Curtain said the Demons were seeking an assurance from AFL Tasmania that their place in the State League was conditional on getting high standard lights at North Hobart Oval.
But Wade said lighting was a priority at every club, not just the Demons.
``Lighting at venues is a key priority. We want to see more football played at night, we think it best suits the lifestyle of our young people,'' Wade said.
If the clubs accept the licence agreements in two weeks the 2009 State League will be officially launched by late November.
