The Tasmania Under 18 team will play its final two games of the NAB National Under 18 Championships this week in Melbourne.
The team is confident of a good showing after an impressive 44 point victory against the Northern Territory at Aurora Stadium last weekend. This brings Tasmania to two wins from three games and sets up an opportunity to win the Division 2 National Championships with victory in either of its final two games.
Tasmania’s first hurdle is to get over the Division 1 state South Australia who have produced impressive results at this year’s championships notably defeating Western Australia by 65 points with a team that is rated as one of the state’s best in many years.
